Intro to Painting from Photo Reference - Next Dates TBD

Join us for a weekend-long painting workshop to learn the basics of oil painting from a reference photo. We will cover composition, color theory, values, mixing and applying oil paint. All supplies will be provided; all you need to bring is a reference photo. All levels are welcome.

Portrait Painting Workshop - February 15, 22

​Join us for a two day portrait paining workshop held over two consecutive Sundays. We will explore the application of color theory to skin tones, practice capturing likeness with form relationships and values, and finish with a color oil sketch. Day one will focus on theory and drawing, and day two on color. We will be drawing and painting from life. All levels are welcome! Workshop cost is $200 for both days, and includes drawing and painting supplies and live model.

Seascape Painting Workshop - March 7

During this one day painting workshop you will learn techniques that will bring out the vibrancy of St Thomas seascapes in your paintings. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite brushes and paints. All levels are welcome. Workshop cost is $75.
